bangkok and phuket

phuket
After the China route, I went to Bangkok and Phuket alone. The plan was simple, change the study environment before finals and give myself a bit of space. Sitting in a cafe in Thailand with the heat outside the door made it easier to focus than going back to the same library I had been in for months.
Phuket was for the slow part, with mornings without urgency, the beach, a swim when I felt like it, and not much else demanding anything from me. Bangkok had more energy to it. The city kept moving, the food was good at almost every price point, and I came back rested in a way that felt practical rather than indulgent.
Travelling solo in a warm city with no obligations turned out to be the right kind of break. No one waiting on a reply, no schedule to sync, and no need to justify the day. I came home with finals still ahead of me, but my head was in a better place.
